My name is Carley Trammell, and I’ve been blogging for about 4 years now. You can find more of my writing here. I have been wearing clothes, however, for all of my life. I have been into fashion for as long as I can remember. A lot of my style choices throughout the years have prompted the following conversation:
Person: “I wish I was brave enough to wear ____”
Me: “It’s pretty easy, you just put ___ on your body and wear it. No bravery required.”
I firmly believe that fashion is a place for everyone, and everyone deserves to have a great style that makes them feel good. After all, wearing clothes that make you feel good makes getting dressed worth the effort.
My personal style is full of color, pattern, and fun pieces. I love layering (mostly because I am always cold) and I have no fear of pattern mixing. I would describe my most recent style evolution as “Parisian chic with 90s flair and more color”.

I want this blog to be a place where people can go to learn from my fashion mistakes, find inspiration for a style of their own, or find comfort in the struggles that we all suffer when it comes to style and fashion in the current times.
I will have four main categories of posts:
- #outfitoftheday –> for these posts I will put pictures of what I’m currently wearing, and go in depth on the why and how of what I put on.
- Tips, Tricks, and Struggles –> these posts will explore fashion struggles that either I’ve personally experienced or that people have come to me for advice on. Many of these will be “How To” posts that talk through my process meant to help make finding joy in fashion easier.
- Reviews –> I personally scour the internet for valid, in depth reviews on products from people who have used them. I figured it’s high time I post my own opinions to help a wayward shopper. These reviews will always be exactly what I think – if I hate it, you’ll know, affiliated/sponsored/paid or not.
- Special Collections –> these posts will be special posts that don’t fit the format or content of my other categories. Things like Style Spotlights, Deep Dives, or specific series of posts will go here. Click on the page to read more about each category.
Together we can explore what fashion means and how it can bring us more joy and happiness in everyday life. This blog is a place of real fashion for real people – you won’t see heavily edited photos or unattainable looks filled with name brands.
My name is Carley, and I’m curly, curvy, and candid.
What People Say
“One thing that Carley has said which helped me a lot is that you’re allowed to be picky with your clothes, because I have a lot of sensory and logistical needs and it removes the pressure of ‘I’m supposed to like that’ or ‘I have to wear this'”
Eowyn Sinclair
“Carley’s Style: eclectic, joyful, and comfortable. I have never seen in her in something she didn’t find gloriously comfy, nor have I ever seen her in something predictable or typical. She loves to combine many pieces into a fun look that I would never think of but that looks adorable. She has an eye for the details and often incorporates whimsical accessories and interesting prints to sneak extra fun into every outfit”
